LMS is a sister company of RHC, a classification society that carries out inspections and classifies ships 

for the Dutch flag (see also www.rhcnl.com). RHC is particularly specialized in traditional sailing ships.

The scope of LMS consists of: Surveys, Inspections, Audits and being Recognized organization for sea going vessels for National and International organizations.

Limdal Marine Services (LMS) is recognized organization by Vanuatu for the smaller vessels.  LMS is mainly specialised in ships below 1000 GT. On a case-by-case basis, larger vessels are also possible. LMS is a NON-IACS MEMBERS, and may issue ISM and  ISPS. 

LMS now also has more than 8 years of experience in classifying ships, also because the know-how of RHC is available. LMS was acquired by the owner of RHC in 2018. Our aim is to integrate the companies as much as possible in order to build a unique classification society that can assist ship owners in the field of mandatory regulations for sailing cargo ships, rigging, conversions, inspections and advice.
